A sponsor team is four to eight adults who commit to one Afghan ally family for a year. You are not caseworkers and you are not alone — our staff carries the paperwork, the vetting, and the hard calls.

Every phase has a staff lead, a written plan, and a check-in. You always know what month you're in and what it asks of you.

Training & screening
Four hours of training, background checks for every adult, and the cultural briefing.

First dinner, then a written twelve-month plan the family signs with you.

Steady the household
Rides, school enrollment, documents, clinics, a working grocery routine.

Work and English
Résumés, interview practice, credential translation, weekly English hours.

The questions everybody asks.
Full FAQDo we give the family money?
No. Rent, utilities, and emergencies come from the fund. If a need comes up, you tell staff and we handle it.
What if our team falls apart?
It happens. Staff steps in and we recruit replacements — the family never feels the gap.
Do we need to speak Dari?
No. Interpreters are available whenever you need one, and most families have some English already.
Can our church sponsor several?
Yes — a congregation can carry three to five families with our playbook and staff support.
